This year's OFWB Teach Of Year + Superintendent Of Year deadline for application submissions is July 31st 2024.
Please note that all applications must be postmarked by July 19th and received by our office by July 26th.
All nominations received are anonymously given to a selected committee who choose the recipients based on the application and letters submitted. Each recipient of this award receives a plaques and their name is placed on perpetual plaques in the OFWB headquarters. They also receive a monetary award given by the Board of Christian Education.

The Sunday School Banquet will be held on August 12th, 2024 at La Grange OFWB Church. We will award the TOY and SOY at the banquet.

Our Mission
The mission of the Original Free Will Christian Education Ministry (CEM) is to assist churches in developing the knowledge, skills and attitude that will enable people to go, teach and make disciples in each of our communities.
Our Story
Records indicate that Christian Education has always been an important interest of the Original Free Will Baptist denomination. In 1921, just eight years after the North Carolina State Convention of Free Will Baptist was formed, discussion was conducted concerning the need for an organized effort to place emphasis on Christian Education in the Free Will Baptist churches. A "bureau of institutes" was established to begin this promotion through training Sunday School workers...
Our Vision
The vision of the OFWB Christian Education Ministry is to maintain its commitment to teaching and learning for everyone while remaining true to the belief that the message of salvation comes through Jesus Christ the Son of God.
